What we do
We address the unique needs of each child in their natural learning environments through evidence-based, child-lead and play-based therapy. Speech Bubble is a neurodiversity-affirming practice.
What we offer
We specialize in working with autistic children, gestalt language processors, and those who use AAC. We also treat a variety of other communication challenges, delays and disorders including speech-sound production, receptive & expressive language and fluency. Speech Bubble offers consultations and coaching for caregivers, comprehensive evaluations, and speech-language therapy.

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Jessica is a speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She earned her Master’s degree from Worcester State University and is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.
In addition to private practice, Jessica has experience in elementary school, middle school and early intervention settings. She is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practice and uses a play-based therapeutic approach, focusing on the interests of each individual fostering caregiver-child relationships.

Jessica was assigned to us and my daughter instantly loved her. We found that my daughter was a gestalt language processor and from there Jessica was able to teach my husband and I how to help her learn in a way that she was able to understand. With Jessica's help she was putting sentences together, within a year. Jessica was very engaging with our daughter who showed signs of autism. I truly believe if we had anyone else other than Jessica helping us, our daughter would not be thriving the way she is now. Insurance & Billing
At this time, we are private pay only. Speech Bubble is working to provide clients with superbills that can be submitted to insurance companies for potential partial/whole reimbursement in the future.
